Pregnant Platy

Hi i have a pregnant platy in my breeding tank the problem i have is a diffrent platy gave birth last night in my main tank. I managed to get her in a breeding trap and only lost 2 fry will the fry be ok in the trap in my breeding tank till the other platy gives birth. And also will the other platy eat her fry as she gives birth.

The fry should be fine in the trap for a couple of weeks.That depends if she is well fed or not.
