I am new to this site, I have a female platy that seems to have been preg forever, she had babies about a month and a half ago and I was unable to save any, although I did see them. She has been huge for the last week. and has been hiding and resting on the bottom, yesterday she was more active swimming fast, and today she seems like she is resting again. she is big but not as big as yesterday and I have looked all over the tank for babies and have not found any! Is she still preg or because she is still big...pretty big. is it possible that all the babies were eaten, i have LOTS of plant for them and I have 18 molly fry that survived a few months ago.

sounds like she had them but some platy do release a few fry at a time so some could be on the way again, they WILL be hiding in the plants, they are so small and tend to be very clever at hiding in something that is almost the same colour as them.
ive got a bare bottomed fry tank, the darker fry always hide on the rim of the base which is black and the lighter platy fry head for the cover of under the diy filter ive got in there,
