Pregnant Platy Or Not?

I have a problem. see i have a platy and recently her belly has grown. I am not sure if she is pregnant however because i don't know what to check for. I also have a Guppy who i also think is pregnant. I just don't know how to tell if they are or arn't so for the time being i have put them both in a breeding tank so that if they do give birth the fry will be safe...PLEASE HELP!
