Pregnant Or Something Else?

One of my black skirt tetras looks like it might be pregnant. Im not sure if its that or something else. I have some pictures but i don't know how well you can see it. The scales are definitely popping out. It's not sitting at bottom or top like with dropsy. I don't have the water conditions right now but i can post them later. My other fish are 9 black skirt tetra, 1 fancy guppy, 3 rasboras, 1 zebra loach, 1 pleco in a 55 gallon.

Ouch!! That's gotta hurt! If the scales are sticking out, it's dropsy.

Tetras are not livebearers, they do not become pregnant. Eggs look nothing like this. The fish has dropsy, probably terminal sorry. Isolate it, try treating with tetracycline or sulfa but I doubt it will do anything. Water stats definitely need checking as dropsy is often caused by poor water quality.
