Hello! I am not new to fish keeping (I've had my tank for about three years, I guess), but I'm not an expert with fish. My dad really does all the filtering-cleaning work, and tells me when I need to change something. But he can't help with the actual fish.
Recently, a month or two ago I suppose, I bought two black mollies from the store, sorta hoping they'd have a baby fish. About three weeks after I got them, I found a few fry and managed to keep one alive in one of those oh-so-fancy mini tanks that you just plop in the big tank and the fry can swim freely in. It also came with an extra triangular device, so that when the mom-fish is about to have a baby, you can put her in and all the newborn fry will sink to the bottom, cut off part of the mini-tank. But there's a problem--I don't know how to tell if my fish is pregnant.
I guess the point of this long, boring post is to simply ask how to know if my molly is pregnant or not.
Thanks!
