This is my first time owning live bearing fish. I have 7 lyre tailed mollies. While trying to determine thier sexes I noticed one was much fatter than all the others. It is also staying toward the top of our tank and chases all the others away from it. However to me its fins looked more like a males. Could it be a pregnant female anyway? 
I am excited to know if one is pregnant already. Also is there a good way to tell when she will give birth? I have read about the spot but the fishy in question is white and black already so I am not sure. I don't have a net breeder yet but will get one as soon as I can. Hopefully in time to save any babies that might be comming. Thanks for any info.
