Pregnant Molly

I have noticed that my molly is very plump and my other molly is chasing her alot, assume he is male as whilst chasing he has large fin on top flared up! I am worried as he seems to be hasseling alot, what would she look like when about to have her babies? And i have a plastic tank which isnt set up would it be wise to transfer some water from the big tank into it along with gravel and move her in to there??? Thanks

I would as the stress might make her abort with him chasing her, signs of giving birth is the fish hiding in plants, and being very moody chasing other fish, good luck.

OK thanks i set up tank now, oh and by the way that cory yesterday which got stuck up the filter is doing fine now lol must have been an experiance for him

How many females to males do you have with your mollys? Mollys can hassle each other alot, but if you dont have enough females there will be no stop of harrassment from the male. Do you have many plants in the tank ?

Well at the mo i only have 3 females to 2 males is that ok? And I moved the pregnant female into seperate tank she doing fine 2day but looks like her belly gone down no babies to be seen in there plenty of cover for them And she did have a white dot underneath her yesterday is that a sign of being pregnant?
