At what point do you put a pregnant mollie in a breeding tank? I just bought one that I think is pregnant. I wanted to send a pic but can't figure out how :/ .

You can move your pregnant molly when she starts looking very big, but you don't want to stress her out. If you can see the fry's eyes pressing against her belly, that means she'll deliver soon. :) Be sure to provide a lot of hiding places for the fry, so the mother doesn't eat them.

What size is the breeding tank?

You can post a pic in the section "Member's Aquarium and Fish Pictures." :)

:hi: to the forum. Introduce yourself in the newbie section. :D

I'm not sure if you would be able to tell, but the first pinend article in this forum has a movie of a mother giving birth to a fry.

If you need instructions on posting pictures, I believe there is a pinned article on it in the questions forum...

dont move her let her give birth naturally as long as you have enought plants then the fry will be fine

:kana: Well, I'm a grandma! My little girl had babies! I put her in the net one night last week cause she was looking especially big. The next morning, the net was full of fry. :D I was able to see the last one being released. About 10-15 didn't make it. Is that normal? 21 of the little sweeties did survive and are doing wonderful! I should expect her to release more in about a month, right?
