At what point do you put a pregnant mollie in a breeding tank? I just bought one that I think is pregnant. I wanted to send a pic but can't figure out how .
You can move your pregnant molly when she starts looking very big, but you don't want to stress her out. If you can see the fry's eyes pressing against her belly, that means she'll deliver soon. Be sure to provide a lot of hiding places for the fry, so the mother doesn't eat them.
What size is the breeding tank?
You can post a pic in the section "Member's Aquarium and Fish Pictures."
Well, I'm a grandma! My little girl had babies! I put her in the net one night last week cause she was looking especially big. The next morning, the net was full of fry. I was able to see the last one being released. About 10-15 didn't make it. Is that normal? 21 of the little sweeties did survive and are doing wonderful! I should expect her to release more in about a month, right?
