your tank needs to be at the same temp as your tankwere she fell pregnent, all tanks need heaters and how lkong has she been pregnent

i havn't got a heater in the one she fell pregnant in it is just a 10W light at 24-26 C.She has been pregnant for about 3 weeks maybe a month. Will she eat the fry what is the best thing i can do.

she will eat the fry, so go to ur LFS and buy a fly trap or net one, when she is giving birth they will fall down and she wont be abl to ea them, unless your doing survival in which case let her give birth until she finished and then take her out

what does this do and what does LFS mean.

lfs is local fish store, and this stops her from eating them as when they dry fall down they become trapped until you realise them , by this time you can removethe guppy :)

It's a pretty small tank, but it will be okay for her to give birth in. It should be heated, unless your house is kept very warm. The "dots" you are seeing will be the fry's eyes which you can see in the gravid spot. Just because you can see them, doesn't mean she'll give birth immediately, but it means she is getting close if you can see them clearly. I couldn't say how long it could really be without a picture. Or if you know how long she's been pregnant? For temperature, you can kick it up a little higher for her to give birth, but I'd recommend no higher then 78-80.

I wouldn't put her in a breeder trap, they tend to stress them out a lot which can lead to birthing difficulties, abortion, or even death. If you have her in a small tank like that, and you put some decorations and plants in, you will get some surviving fry.

Best of luck! :D

P.S. Next time you might want to put this in the Livebearer section.

Okay, so she'll be giving bith pretty soon. The circle is her gravid spot, and if it's dark it means she will be getting close. I'd figure out a way to keep the tank nice and warm, and then keep her as stress free as possible. If you can't find a way to keep it warm, just put her back in the main tank. Don't put her in the breeder net. If you want, you can put the fry in the breeder net to raise them though.

A little stress coat will be okay. Also, what are the water params?

And yes, fry will hide in plants. The best way to boost the temp. is using a heater.

the 11 ltr is nest to a radiator shall i boost he heat of the radiotor how many fry is she llikely to eat.
