Pregnant Guppy With Pics

When she starts acting funny, like swimming up and down the side of the tank for hours and hours.... that's a great indication

when she starts hovering beside and filter or heater or in the corner... wants to be by herself that's another indication.

when she has loss of hunger or maybe she's really hungery. that's another indication.

My guppies go up and down the side of the glass..... kinda looks like she has a hard time because of the extra weight.

Keep a good eye on her then stick her in the breeding tank or .. whatever you have and wait...

Usually it's in the mronings are evenings they give brith

It's a little hard to tell from pictures, but I'd say at least 2 weeks until she gives birth. She doesn't appear to be very fat at all, and her gravid isn't all that dark. Of course, she may be having a small batch, but it's still going to be a while.

she has been pregnant 4 about a month how long do u think peeps

well if im wrong tell me but i think guppys are pregnant for 4 weeks befor giving birth so she should be having them any time soon. good luck

She certainly doesn't look like she's been pregnant for a month. -_- Are you sure she hasn't had fry and you didn't notice and they got eaten?

If she has been pregnant for a month, she may be holding on to the fry or she may have absorbed them due to stress. Are you sure she actually is pregnant? Do you have a male in your tank? What other fish do you have, and what are their numbers? And what are your water stats?

yes she id up da duf n there is a male i no a pregnant fish wen i c 1.
Mat

I'm not doubting you, I'm saying is it possible she had fry and you didn't notice? The gravid spot won't go away, they always have a gravid spot pregnant or not. So you can't go by just that. :)

And could you answer my other questions please? I just would like to make sure something isn't stressing her out and causing her to absorb her fry back in, or hold on to them.
