pregnant guppy stress?

i havea pregnant guppy which should drop within the next week or so i took her away out of a 10gal causeshe was being botherd by the male i have her in a 2.5 3 gal until she drops is she stressed out in this new enviroment she looks like shes ok but maybe shes not she doesnt swim alot like the other guppies do shes more calm now

Some of my guppies calm down alot when they are ready to give birth. The extra wieght from the babies makes it hard for them to swim around like a normal guppy....just keep a close watch on her and make sure she doesnt clamp her fins together and squeeze her tail fin together....I had a guppy do that when i moved her to a smaller tank and she was so stressed out that after she gave birth to her fry...a day later she died.....try to maker her as comfy as possible....what is the water temp?...is it different from the 10 gallon tank?

shes getting bigger and i just noticed i have two more pregnant females! one isnt very pregnant but the other is as big as the one i mentioned in my first post! lots of fry on the way!!!!

got another question i got a tank with about 14 1 week old guppy fry should i through the new born fry in there when they are born or i got a diff tank i can put them in if that would be best

Should be fine if the fry are only a week old, as they get older they would of eaten the fry as well.

yea i just put my new born platy fry into a tank with 4 week old guppy fry and they are all getting along quite well

its about 9pm central and i just got home and found two baby guppy fry i have the female on her own cause the male was picking on her when i got home so im hoping there will be more! there should be more right? i dont see how that many couldve been eaten i fed them before i left...

Congrats on the along waited fry

It is always so satisfying to know that your females have finally given birth....and that the long wait is over .....now you will be waiting for them to turn colour....and then waiting for them to breed.....the cycle repeats itself so many times.....but you will never get tired of it

weird thing there was only 2?? all i have in the tank are other guppies a male and a few females havent seen anymore and its been a couple days
