So i moved my fishes yesterday back to school for the semester and i'm pretty sure my female was pregnant before i moved her.

She has this long whitish string coming out, it that her aborting her babies (if so it's like the 5th time grrr)

It's not long stringy white poo is it, when they abort never seen it but I think it looks long and beade looking.

Yes, stringy white poop isn't her aborting - it indicates internal parasites. When they abort you see thick blobs kind of like beads like Wilder said come out like poop. The color is blotchy IME

If it's not stringy poo, almost like fishy diarhhea  , then it could be she's going to give birth. Why do I say that? Because mine just did regular poopies until they were ready to give birth and then they began ejecting red and white long tubes almost of poo. No clue why and the fish were healthy. I just presumed it was a prelude to giving birth. Of course I could be out to lunch on this one, I've been known to go there frequently!

What should i give to her to get rid of teh internal parasites (if that's what is it, but i don't want to loose another one :( )

Just wait to make sure if it stays long white and stringy it internal parasites, they wasn't a med in the uk at one time but i think you can get one now you will have to ask the lfs, good luck.

It could just be constipation. Have your tried giving her a skinned, cooked pea? Put one in the water and rub your fingers together to break it up.

yes constipation rarther than parasites regulary change foods from pellets, flakes, dreid and frozen and even live and this will sort it out, its like you eating chips all the time thats all
