I know my guppy is pregnant because she has a gravid spot, shes not big and i think she might be quite young, i fed the community tank that she is in with my other guppies and she never ate anything, also she keeps hovering at the top of the tank and laying on the gravel underneath my ornamentol bridge, i only recently just bought her so i dont know how far gone she is, i will inclue a picture of her .. she is the yellow guppy, also can you tell me how far gone is the other guppy in my picture ( she is still eating tho and not hovering) im worried about my yellow guppy as she dosnt seem to be moving alot

please help

thanks!

It looks like it'll be at least a few weeks with her, but really it's hard to tell. It depends on the fish. Some (mostly young) fish look less pregnant than others while some (usually older) can be huge.

Always be prepared with guppies (and other livebearers), because they breed like crazy and most of the time you cant tell when they'll give birth. :)

this seems like a good thing to check out...
