She's not far along; probably a week, or even two (although young livebearers don't get as big as older ones).

The sign you want to look for is 'squaring off'. You'll notice that her belly gets distinct corners, especially at the front, and once that happens she'll give birth within 24/48 hours.

hi thanks for your responce im greatful for the help, i have 5 pregnant guppies and one pregnant platie im all new to this so i dont know the warning signs of when they are about to give birth, would you say shes got about another 2 weeks before she has her fry? how many fry do guppies have? how often should i feed the pregnant guppies/ and the fry when they are born? when her fry are born how long is it before the fry get sexually mature as im scared more will appear/inbreeding when the fry are born and transfered into their 24L fry tank how often should i do water changes and how much? would you suggest a divider to seperate the male and female fry? and at what age can you tell if the fry are male or female? is it advisable to have a air stone and a filter in the fry tank? sorry for the questions but i need some help lol than you once again x

I try to answer your questions as far as possible.

May I suggest you read this link:-

how many fry do guppies have?
Min one, but it can go upto 40 - 50 if the female is big and so fertile. My average is 30.

how often should i feed the pregnant guppies/ and the fry when they are born?
I feed my pregnant as per normal, 2 x a day. As for the fry, 4 - 6 times will be good. The trick is to feed as often but do not overfed them. Once you see the fry bellies are just big, stop! Wait for next round of feeding. Start feeding the fry on the second day of delivery. Initially, they will eat so little and it a matter of time, you will see they will take in more food.

when her fry are born how long is it before the fry get sexually mature
Sexually mature can be as early as 2.5 months if not 3 months.

24L fry tank how often should i do water changes and how much?
Depend on how many fish in the tank. For fry tank of that size, I would recommend a 20% WC at weekly interval with aged water, free of chlorine and chloramine and as far as possible, same water temp as in the fry tank.

would you suggest a divider to seperate the male and female fry?
Yes, after 1.5 mths or so.

what age can you tell if the fry are male or female?
You can tell when they're around 1.5 mths. Depend on your capabilities of raising the fry in premium condition.

is it advisable to have a air stone and a filter in the fry tank?
If your fry tank is around 10 gallons with around 20 of them, having an airstone and a filter just to make some circulation of water and filtration biologically, it is advisable though to some extent, not necessary. However, all my 10 gallons fry tank do have sponge filter each with moderate air bubbles.

Good luck and have fun guppying.

PS:
Above all, I do keep my day old fry to 1 week old in a gallon tank to facilitate feeding so that they don't use up much energy to look for food. A very slow rate of air bubble from the plastic tubing was used.

OK, here goes lol. I'll try to answer all questions and sorry Noor I'm going to steal your layout because the OP didn't post it in an organised layout so it's just easier to steal yours

How many fry do guppies have?
Depends on the age of the guppy, I've had some small females give birth to as little as 5 whereas my old big girl gave birth to up to 100 at a time

How often should i feed the pregnant guppies/ and the fry when they are born?
Same as normal

I feed 2 times a day, morning and evening. The fry if left in the tank with the parents will pick at any food they find so you won't need to feed them any extra. Just make sure there's plenty of cover for them to survive the adults.

When her fry are born how long is it before the fry get sexually mature?
Anywhere between 1 month(unlikely unless they are on miracle grow XD) and 3 months. Once the male develop their Gonopodiums that's when they are sexually mature and really need to be separated from the females.

24L fry tank how often should i do water changes and how much?
I wouldn't raise them in this size tank as fry produce a growth hormone that "leaches" into the water and after a certain build up time it stops them growing properly. In a tank this size to keep them growing healthily you'd nee to be doing a 50% water change twice a week. They produce a lot of Growth hormone for their size. If it's only about 5-10 fish you may be OK with doing a 50% once a week but anymore and I'd be aiming to do 50% twice a week to keep them growing steadily.

Would you suggest a divider to separate the male and female fry?
As soon as the males develop they will need separating from the females or the females will be getting pregnant way too young and this could kill them.

What age can you tell if the fry are male or female?
Depends how quickly they grow. Some you can tell at 1 month old, some you can't tell till they are 3 months old. Some take even longer than that. I had a homebred male that didn't show that he was male till he was about 5 month old. He was the runt of the litter.

Is it advisable to have a air stone and a filter in the fry tank?
Filter - yes, airstone is personal choice. You will need a filter and a heater for raising guppies. You will need a filter and a heater for keeping guppies. They are tropical fish that need temperatures of between 25C and 28C. The warmer the water, the more often the females will give birth and therefore the quicker the fry will grow.

I would like to point out that you do not need De-Chlorinator. I don't use it, I never have. I don't see why everyone thinks you definitely have to have De-Chlorinator in your tank... I've kept all sorts of fish from Guppies to Cichlids and all in plain simple tap water.

And no, she's not very far along. This is a video of my 3 females and my males. the thinnest gave birth about a week ago and the other two are about 2-3 weeks along.
