Pregnant Fish

Hi,
Today i have bought 3 platies (1 male and 2 female), the guy at the shop said that some were pregnant so i asked for 1 pregnant 1 not. When i got home i put them in my tank and left them for a few hours and then took a quick look at them and it looked as though both females were pregnant although the one I thought wasnt pregnant in the shop was black so I cant see if the gravid spot is there. The reason i think she is pregnant is she is rather fat.

a pic would help us tell. and the gravid spot doesn't tell if she is pregnant it just gets darker as time goes on (in the pregnancy)

cant get one yet she has not yet settled in.

Some fish's colors change slighty til they've settled in. A picture would make it easier to tell though and Im sure with that someone here would be able to tell you. The chances are they are both pregnant if they were in a tank with males.

They're probably both pregnant. They store sperm so they can be pregnant many times even if they were not in a tank with males for a while.
