I have a few pregnant Fancygup. and was wondering about how long it would take until they gave birth? Also what is the estimated about of babies a female should have?

i was told around twenty-eight days and depending on i this is her first time or not, up too 100 fry.

so i was told by someone else on this site...i don't remember who.

i have a black tuxedo that has been pregnant for a really long time. like months. i thought maby she was just big, but she has the black near her anal fin and everything (it wasn't from natural color, came AFTER i introduced her into the tank, with my main male guppy)

R.I.P. Main Male :(

you've owned your own shop for 10 years... but you have a boss?

You breed fish for a living... but need to ask the gestation period of a guppy.

She lets us as employee's get on this site if we need answers to questions when she is not here. Is it that hard to understand?

No, but I think you would have to admit that it is a little confusing? Do you mean the person who gets all indignant if we question her expertise (as she has bred rare marine fish and knows about 1 inch plecos but cannot tell an inch from a metre), is not the same as the person who asks about the gestation period of guppies? And is it a different person again who offers advice to people about not using gravel vacs? And if they are different people, why should one person (the boss) get so incensed if we question the expertise of other (presumably less competent) people who seem to be offering inaccurate advice? And why are employees offering advice on a hobbyist forum from their employer's computer in their employer's time? Asking advice I can understand, but offering it? I maintain that the person who has been offering advice in this poster's name - about plecos, gravel vacs etc- has a lot to learn about fish and should refrain from offering advice until that learning has been done. If other people are using the same identity and wish to dissociate themselves from the incompetent poster, they should identify themselves clearly in their posts.

Besides, if you are in an lfs, why would you need to get on a fish forum to ask the gestation period of a guppy- why not ask your boss?

Sorry folks, I just cannot stop feeding this troll, it begs so prettily.
