Pregnant Bamboo Shrimp

i bought a bamboo shrimp...
she's been extremely timid since, and hides all the time :/

but now i know she's pregnant :crazy:
i heard they cant give birth in freshwater... and im no expert
but is there anything i can do to help her?
and maybe try to raise some babbies...???

They give birth to a larvae form that could potentially grow into a shrimp. But in fresh water the larvae die because they don't get the right food to eat. I posted another thread about this because apparently there is a shrimp food by Mosura that claims the ability to keep the larvae alive and to grow to a full shrimp. But...To be honest, I haven't heard of anyone successfully raising Bamboo fry, even in brackish water. As far as activity level, don't expect much. They will walk around the tank some but usually you will see them sitting in the area of the tank with the most current because that's where they obtain their food.
