Pregnant balloon molly

my friends baloon molly is pregnant and has had a huge bubble dangling from her since yesterday. a guy at a fish store told her to let it swim in a seperate tank in epsom salt. It's been over 24 hours and this fish still hasn't lost that sac. Is this normal for a livebearing fish. what can my friend do to help her fish.

no thats not normal, catch her in a net and see if u can dislodge it by hand, if u dont she could die. keep me updated.
