OK so everything bad has been happening lately. First my daddy platy in the tank died and then my smallest of the platy fry got stuck under a rock and died :rip: . So now I have one male platy and one ADF in the tank and seven of the platy fry still in the breeder box.OK and now even worse news is that I think that one of my baby platys is now pregnant! Is that possible? They were born in May but they are too small to be in the tank with the other platy. So can she be pregnant cuz she has a gravid spot. I think. What should I do because I made a deal with my friend that I would take some of her mollys because she has 30 mollys in a ten gallon so she needs help. I have to give the boy platys in my tank to a friend to stop breeding. So then I will have girl mollys and platys but now I have to take care of the pregnant momma too. Any advice?

2 months old is pretty young but if they are fed really well and under ideal conditions it could be possible. If the baby platies can be sexed then they can usually breed.

OK thatnks for the advice. I really wish I could be happier but that means I have more babies to give away to someone I don't completely trust. :-(

You could just let everything run its course and not seperate the babies from the bigger fish. Some will get eaten, but if you are really struggling for room and the time to care for them then maybe let nature take control..
