I have a pregnant female swordtail and it's about to have it's young anytime now..and it's in the breeding trap right now but when she lets them all out...what do i feed the babies? whats best that would help them get bigger and healthy?

Liquifry or Hikari First Bites are great for the first few weeks. After that, very finely crushed flakes, or very finely crushed meatier foods are good.

Are you going to be keeping them in a Breeder net?

One excellent thing you can feed them is frozen baby brine shrimp. If you do go for Liquifry, get Liquifry #2 for Livebearers. Hikari First Bites are a very fine pellet (much like a powder) food that you can feed them, highly nutritious, and they love it. Finely crushed flakes work well, too.

it's not a net it's one of thoseplatsitc case ones it's kinda cheap.. not sure exatly what to do..
I would reccomend getting a breeding net for them, because it will give them more room.

yes.. true but is there any other way like putting them insomthin mabey? -_- cause i don't have another bubbler nor do i have a heater for my 5 gal thats why thats empty other wise i would of had them in there

Not sure what you mean exactly by putting them in something.

If you have a breeder net, you just hang it on the side of the tank, and it's like a mini tank for them. Only made out of net, so they can have filtered and heated water.

Thanks..but i also remmeberd i had another 5 gal tank so i have 60 of em or 50 of them in it right now.. there was 80 but some thins happend...tragic begening and ending for them... :rip:
