Fish Crazy
My pregnant painted platy has been acting slightly um lonerish towards my othre platys but not much but I just added, I mean just like 20 minutes ago, a female silver wag (it actually looks like a breed between a silver wag and a mickey mouse) and she's staying of to the side, away from them.
Is it instint to stay away from strange new fish, so the pregnant fish wont get attacked or diseased and can pass on her DNA to a new generation.
I also had this kind of fish 2 times before, those were male and they both died I bieleve becaus then it was 2 males and 2 females, and the male that was there first had the control.
Oh yes stats on me tank:
10 gallon with
1 male platy
3 platy females (including this one)
3 white clouds (2 female)
3gold white clouds (2 female)
Ther newly added fish are the silver wag platy(female) and 2 goldwcm and one normal wcm all of which are female.
I haven't done a water change recently it's around the time that I should.
Water stats:
Nitrates 40
Nitrites 0
hardness 150 gh
alkalinity somewhere inbetween 0 and 40 kh
PH 7.4
Hmm
