hi my ballooned molly is preg i have just come home and it is swimming on its back what does this me thanks

could be a damaged swim bladder which helps the fish keep its balance, try the emergency section for a better responce and welcome to the forum

hi i had a balloned molly also it wasnt pregnant it was bloated mine was on its back on the floor the next day it was floating on the top :9

yes sometimes the fry can put pressure on the swimbladder causing it not to function properly, sorry for you loss
