Alright, so I have a 55 gallon with a 10 inch Arowana, a nine inch clown knife, a ten inch water cow goby, two silver dollars, and a crawfish. I'm going out of town for about a week and I was wondering if they would all be fine with a set amount of feeders loose in the tank(aside from the silver dollars who will have a house sitter feeding them thier own food), they all are used to hunting their own food and can compete with each other very nicely so they all end up fed by the end of a group of feeders.

if I do leave a batch of feeders in the tank, should they be guppies, goldfish, or minnows? and how many should I look into getting for the week if it would work? The clown knife is a newer addition and I'm still balancing out my feeders for the three predators in the tank.

Thanks!

im not sure on the feeders

but that tanks about 4 times too small for the arowna and the clown knife

Dont bother with feeders, risk introducing diseases and parasites and also fish like goldies and minnows have growth inhibiting hormones which stunt your fishes growth not to mention fish like goldies have low nutritional valve and its illegal to feed live fish in the UK.

Any fish can be got onto dead food, just takes patience and time.

sorry, should have clarified. I know the tank is too small, I'm planning on upgrading to a larger tank as the fish grow, and right now the fish are used to live food which I get from a trusted supplier so suddenly trying to get them to eat dead would not be good for them currently.
