how many powerheads is to much for a 75 gallon. i have 6 right now. two on the middle back wall shooting forward. two shooting down the back wall behind my live rock and two on each side wall of the tank pointed slightly towards the live rock/corals. i am thinking about getting rid of two of mine (1 is 106 gph the other 160 gph) and getting two aquaclear powerheads. they are ones that pump 400 gph forward and 175 reverse. so my question is 6 to many? what is this reverse option that this powerhead has and is it a good idea to get them.

Six may be more than most wold recommend, but it is not too many.
If you have a good system worked out for all six, go with it!

hey I like my plan :D but I just didnt know if it was a wize decesion. that gives me 1930 gph flowing around my aquarium. I am hoping and this should put an end to my "dead spots" as well as keep my live rock clear of any debris that can help lead to alage.

On my 75 I have almost 2800GPH of flow.

It is almost impossible to have too much flow. You might have too much for a sandbed. But not for fish or corals. We rarely approach the force of currents on reefs in our small systems, where such force would spill water over the tops of our tanks!

how did you get your 2800 gph? i noticed that you have a kenya coral. I came home from work today and noticed that mine was bent in half, like someone had started to chop it down. any ideas to why it is like this, and what can I do for it? Everything else on it looks good.
