What flow rate LPH and GPH am i looking for on a 35G with 2 powerheads? flow rate for each powerhead!

x10 = 350gph (175gph each)
x20 = 700gph (300gph each)
x30 = 1050gph (525gph each)
x40 = 1400gph (9700gph each)

x10 = 1325lph (650lph each)
x20 = 2650lph (1325lph each)
x30 = 3975lph (2000lph each)
x40 = 5300lph (2650lph each)

Depends how much flow you require really - the rest is basic maths

How do I know how much flow I will need I have seen eheim 1212 650lph.

Im having a live rock and mayb progress to some soft corals and mushrooms etc easy things to keep. So will 10X be enough in a 35G?

Yeah, a good middle ground for most reef systems is x20 flowrate. Unless you're keeping high flow corals (ie sps or clams) everywhere in your tank, x20 is a good number.

Okay well i have found these Jebo powerheads 2000lph which would be 4000lph a 25X turnover an hour....would it be ok to switch one of them off at night i would still have a 12.5 X turnover?

yes its possible to switch one off at night but remember the risk of having a powerhead turned off can lead to fish ising it as a hidey hole and other forms of life entering the powerhead. Once it gets switched back on in the morning you will have a mashed fish or invert in there :sick:
Tunze Streams are very good for this as they can be dialed down to a lower flow at night without having to be switched off.
