The powerhead on my 620t has packed up and I have no backup. What should I do as no shops are open now etc, will they be ok for the night with no filtration?
should I turn my heater off too?

thanks

It's always a nightmare when something like this happens! Probably the first thing you did, but have you looked at the impeller to make sure it's not blocked by anything? Other than that I don't really know what to suggest other than maybe do a water change if you're overly worried. As long as the bacteria has a source of oxygen then hopefully the colony will survive until the morning when you can go and get a back up filter.

Don't really know what else to suggest really, good luck and let us know what happens?

Yeah just finishing a water change now. Everything looks fine so I have no idea why, probs because it's just out of the warranty lol. Going to buy a 200l internal until I find the powerhead then il run both.

shall I keep the heater off or is it fine to keep on?

thanks

Bought a new internal filter so hopefully it will all be ok. All the fish are still alive so that's the most important thing :D
I got an aqua- internal filter 200 from maidenhead near by as it was only £23.00.

Can you tilt them at an angle? it says in the installation guide that it has to be above a certain point but doesnt say anything about tilting it. I'm only asking as its fairly noisy and its in my room so im trying to make it as quiet as possible without breaking it lol.
