Powerhead equivalancy per gallons

do you want to know what filter 'rate' you need for a 5gal?

if so a powerhead will not filter - only provide water movement unless you get a filter attachment.

5x an hour would be more than enough as stocking level will be low due to the size of the tank.

we use a 50gal/hour internal filter in our 3gal breeding tank - with it turned down a bit :)
 
That's what I meant. I couldn't really explain it but the 5x and hour thing was what I was looking for. I read online about 5 or more complete water movement x aquarium gallons = gph or something like that. Thanks.
