right, im getting a aqua 40, and when i get it im changing the filter to an Eheim Aquaball 2206 (the smallest one), and i was wondering what power the jet should be on for:

- 1 Cherry barb
- 5 Neon tetras
- 2 Pygmy corys or red cherry shrimps (cant decicide!, any ideas on which one to get?)

anyway i dont no wether neons like flowing water? and do cherry barbs, i want it to be flowing quite fast creating a stream like affect! :D

+ i want to keep zebra danios, but i dont no wether theres enuf room? iv heard they need a big tank? :good:

No way for danios, a tank 2ft long is very minimum. Go for shrimps, as has already been mentioned, cories are grouping fish and do way better in bigger groups.

thnaks, so:

- 1 cherry barb
- 5 neons
- 2 red cherry shrimps (will they climb out a hole about half and inch circumfernece? there only 1 inch!

plus what about the filter flow?

the holes are about half an inch long and half an inch wide?

what do u think the filter flow rate should be, do neons like it really fast? cherry barbs will i think!

If it's adjustable, just adjust it until no one is being battered around, and they all seem comfortable.

lol, battered around!! sorry its not funny for the fish...yh its adjustable, i want it flowing still tho.

Since it's an Aquaball, you can have it going pretty fast if you angle the output so the water hits the side of the tank. Just play around until it seems right.

im not getting that smaller tank, its alot harder to keep stable, im opting for the via-aqua with a bio-wheel? do u rate bio-wheels? i no there easier to change the media as u dont have to disturb the fish but are they as efficient? :D thanks
