I recently bought a power compact light. it is a 130 watt (65 10,000k daylight bulb and 65watt actinic bulb), along with lunar LEDs. my tank is a 29g tank (18 or so inches high)

i have 2 questions. first, what kinda of schedule should i have my lights on? should i have both bulbs on during the day and have the Lunar LEDs on through the night, or what's the best way to have them on, and for how long? (for now i only have fish and live rock, and a condy anemone, so no corals or anything yet)

second question. i've been wanting to get a galaxea coral for a long time, would a galaxea be able to survive under this light, or do they require MH?

thanks for any responses!

firsrt off leave your leds on for the full daytime period and one hour before and after the main lights come on. this is a very much up to you though i dont think there is a wrong wat to do it :)

i have a galaxea in my little 16 gal tank, under 110w of PC light, the only problem i find is that it is fighting with my hammer all the time. i think that this will mean it will be comming out soon and beeing moved to the big tank .

hope that helps Rob :good:
