Power Compact Lights?

Looks like a nice luminaire but I would check with the seller to see what type of tubes they are. They might be marine specific and therefore not as good for plants.

Perfect size for my little 2ft tank though

Yeh doesn't look to bad that one, but as Dev says you might need to change the supplied bulbs.

I'd check the cost of replacement bulbs I know that here a 40 watt blub costs $55 each. That can quickly turn a good deal to a bad one. With a little luck the bulbs will be the ones you need.

Is a new size for me. PCs (from my knowledge and maybe different outside UK) come in standard wattages of 18W,24W,36W,55W (I have a 55W)

So I would check to make sure the good deal on a luminaire isn't leaving you struggling to find bulbs to fit it!!

I spoke to the seller and he is 100% that it is good to grow plants. I guess time will tell. Could always sell it to a friend of mine who is after a light hehe. I always have an escape plan
