My tank has been setup for over 4 months now and was fishless cycled. I have a 130L tank with the following inhabiants:
4 angels (only small at the mo)
6 zebra danios
6 glowlight tetras
6 guppies
10 neons
3 bristlenose

On monday i noticed that one of my guppies had what looked like 2 white spots on her (the size of salt grains). However these only showed up when the aquarium lights were on (i have sun glow lights). I thought this could be the start of white spot so i pushed the temp upto 27C. 2 days later and the guppy still has what looks to be a white spot on one of its fins, but the other fish all seem to be fine. None are flicking or rubbing. There is possibly one of my angels that has a white spot on/near its gill plate - but this is difficult to tell due to it being silver....

So my question is....could this be whitespot? If so, how long would it take for an outbreak to manifest it in all fish. I wuld have expected this to have happened by now, especially as i first suspected this on Monday.

IMO your fish do have whitespot,
Are any of the fish breathing rapidly?

I would do a 30% water change and good gravel clean to try and remove any free swimming parasites.
I would also treat with a dose of WS3, this is also a preventitive treatment that will prevent any other fish from getting infected.

Wouldnt my other fish have it as well by now though? I have been too quick to medicate previous tanks that i have, and i am now of the impression that less is more. I am therefore reluctant to medicate. What do people think?

If the spots are the size of a grain of salt yes the fish have whitespot.

Well it is now 4 days later and i still cant see any white spots, so i'm assuming that i dont have white spot and the 2 spots of white i saw on my female guppy were something else.

I do however think she is on the way out as she is hanging near the top of the tank, although she is feeding and swimming fine
