Potential A G A 2006 Aquascaping Contest Entry

On previous contests I notice people put pictures up of the tank w/ old layouts. I think that's just for show off value? Anyway... you should do that, your old aquascapes were amazing too :D

This is looking great now George, i think the glosso has made a huge difference IMO it just gives it such contrast and its a major improvement in my book, this is definatly competition material, i would say in my honest opinion this will do very well, its one of the better aquascapes out there at the moment, i would tweak it very carefully dont want overkill, but the changes you have made to date have really paid off........so hats off to you.........excellent.

Thank you everyone.

A few minor additions will be implemented soon. Basically just letting the glosso fill in more to the left and right, until it is around 3 or 4cm deep all the way across. I'm also thinking of filling in the dark spaces under the fern with more Anubias. I think I'll leave the wood bare. That's it really, maybe some careful pruning of the fern and sag leaves to excentuate the triangular layour effect - not too much though as to lose its natural appeal.

Do you like the title? It was my 9 year-old daughter's choice. I was considering "Axelrodi's Green Abode 2006" (AGA 2006!) A bit corny though eh!?

Thanks again everyone - without the continued encouragement and support from you guys it would have never happened.

I like the title - definitely suited I think

And truly astounding to look back at your own tank evolution (in your threads way back when you joined TFF).
