Edit. Just spotted the Knifefish too. He's going to get BIG! Too big.

Do you know what kind of knife fish that is? It's an African brown knife fish (Xenomystus nigri), and they only get around 7 inches in aquariums. Never seen one much bigger than that. You must be thinking of the clown knife fish.

As for the silver dollar, they are supposed to be in groups and in larger tanks, but it looks very healthy.

Not thinking of a Clown because they have a larger "forehead" if you will and spots.

Although 12" is listed as the maximum size, not all get there. I had mine at 6" for years in a 55 gallon tank and it only got around 8" long total. Most fish don't get as large in an aquarium as they would in the wild. I feel that an African brown knife would need around 20 - 30 gal tank, 30" long minimum.
