Not being mean at all, but the silver dollar should be in a group of 5 or more and a 55gallon tank.
eric, were you planning on getting an Aqua-one then? There is a huge stock at my LFS, but I must say that they're too plastic and tacky for my liking and don't offer a very good filtration system. Just my personal opinion :)

Edit. Just spotted the Knifefish too. He's going to get BIG! Too big.

I agree with Radar. Just by looking at that tank (without knowing the liters/gallons) I can see that the knife and the silver dollar should be moved into a new, larger tank. As stated before, silver dollars like to be in groups of 5+ to feel secure.

just to say, that silver dollar is the last survivor of a group. i have no room to get more as you see. As for my knifefish i have had it for 4 years now and it has been perfectly fine, i do have another tank when the day comes to rehome it. positive replies are few and far between on this forum ive noticed, everybody seems to assume you dont know what your doing.
thanks!!!!

Well people are right to assume when you have a lone cory, a lone silver dollar and a knife fish which is terrible stocking. There's no indication that you have a clue about the fish you keep.

agreed!

you may know how to keep fish but not looking after them!

sorry to say this aswell, but looking at the picture your Cory has all its barbels missing :(

so i assume, when you only have one fish left out of a group you must immediately get rid of that fish because it is not in its 'perfect' grouping???
im sure the title of this thread was 'post your aqua-one tanks here' if im not mistaken. If i'd have asked for advice on any fish then i would have posted a thread in another more relavent place. why cant people just enjoy fishkeeping without others finding fault. we cant all keep expert tanks, some of us just want to enjoy our hobbies and be sociable without putting others down. Im really disappointed that people on here are so judgemental.

People here love there fish, and when they see a fish keeper not meeting standards, things get heated. It isn't necessarily a bad thing when you think about it, it's just a sign of extreme passion. I haven't heard anything too harsh, most of the comments have just said quite plainly that you need a bigger tank, and some of your fish need to be in a group... As for you moving them, they are old now and stunted (due to being in a small tank) unfortunately they won't be growing anymore, so it would still be good for them to be moved! :)

Might I add, the tank does look quite clean and crystal clear water! :good:
