Possibly Sick?

I have a 30 gal (36x12x18) tank set up with 2 platy's, 2 dalmatian mollies and a cory. It's not ideal but I'm redoing the tank and refuse to get more fish until then... anyways.

My female Dalmatian Molly is mostly white. I've noticed lately that around her head and especially her gills are redish.... Is this an illness? The tank stats are fine and all... The only thing i can think of that would cause this that are within my control are stress, because it's a 1:1 female to male ratio so she gets all his attention, and the food I feed is multi-colored and because she's white/transparentish her body is just absorbing and displaying the brightest colors in her skin....

I've searched some sites but can't find any illnesses that quite describe what I'm seeing... and I don't know how to upload video's and the coloring isn't showing up in pictures...
Any help would be appreciated

A lot of time, redness in the gills can indicate ammonia poisoning. What are your water parameters?

If you don't have a liquid testing kit for at least ammonia, nitrate and nitrite, get yourself one right away. Otherwise have your LFS test a sample, and write down the results they find. Don't let them just tell you "it's fine" without getting the numbers!

What you should do right away is a fairly large water change. I'll be you see a difference in them right away.

The Ammonia is between 0 and .25, it's one of those color changes that's hard to tell.. I've cycled the tank and the ammonia meter has been that way for a long time.... what else could it be?... maybe she's just a very sensitive girl..
