Possibly Ich Not Sure

I recently started up my tank again and got new fish with the newly treated water and tank a week ago, fish have been extremely healthy and energetic as normal, untill today i noticed white spots on the fins and the body, not like san particles which ich is said to be like, maybe i just caught it very early, but still no idea, the temperature of my water is 27-28C and i have platies and mollies at the moment, i will try and get a picture up tomorrow.

I have also heard possible over doses of medication for ich, is this possible? any info is extremely appreciated

EDIT: Tank size is 150L i think and i haven't managed to get a test kit for the water

Take a sample of your tank water to the lfs and ask them to write the readings down for you.

Whitespot look like the fish has been sprinkled in salt. or the spots will be the size of a grain of salt.
Read whitespot med instructions carefully and add the correct dose to your size tank.
Increase aeration as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.

If you only have platys and mollies you can use full dose and not half dose.
