I use waterlife protozin which is treated on days 1,2,3 and 6.
It might be a good idea to post some pics if possible, that way the more experienced members will be able to advise you on your next steps.

Hi Scott, Myaxzin seems to be recommended often as a treatment for whitespot though my LFS doesn't stock it. I recently used "Interpret White Spot Treatment". It was unsuccessful but i'm by no means suggesting that it was a problem with the product.
Raising the temperature of the tank to about 84 degrees always seems to suggested.
Depending on the occupants of the tank, adding salt to the water sometimes helps apparently.
Sorry to be so vague but i'm not experienced enough to TELL you what you should do, but in the absence of sound advice you might be able to research it a bit more

Some people have luck with raising temperatures and adding a bit of salt. Make sure you increase aeration if you do that. Lower your tanks water level so filter outlet creates more disturbance and/or throw in an airstone, bubble bar, etc.

I did not have luck with the above but did with a malochite green/formalin medication called Quick Cure. My shrimp survived this medication but it is not advised for invertebrates.

If there are sand grains looking white spot on your oto I would treat earlier rather than later.

Here are some good sites.

Good luck.
