so let me tell you the baiscs.

tank size is 10 gallons, stocked with 9 platys and 1 bettea( I know its a bit overstocked but I got a second 10 gallon for 5 of the platys.) I currently can not get the nitrates, ammonia or nitrites, as I ran out of tests a few days back and currently have night and day school(I know bummer).

what makes me think they have a parasite infection is that some of my platys and my betta are constantly rubbing against the gravel each other and the plants.
another thing that happened is that some of the platys have balooned up quite a bit over night and have thick pinkish feces. They also have their dorsal fin down and one of them is sitting in a corner, I have done a 50% water change and will do another water change tomorrow.

please advise me which meds to use(if any) and what would be the best thing to do right now.

Need to know what stats as its first thing to rule out as bad water quality can make them flick and rub.
Take as sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.

What food do you feed your fish do you use any pink foods.
