Hi guys,

I'm thinking of purchasing one of these lighting units, would it be enough to provide adequate lighting to a 110 ltr tank? The water depth of the tank is about 35cm. It's the 24w unit as my tank is 80cm long.

im running that light right now and im very happy with it. If by depth you mean top to bottom, then you'll be more than fine. The only drawback with that hood is there is no on/off switch so you either need a timer or go and unplug it every night.

I meant from the water surface to the subsrate level, I've got a timer for my tanks lights. At the moment my tanks lights are 2x16w lights, I'm assuming T8, which from what I've been told isn't very much.
