After the power cut mentioned earlier (that no one has replied to yet!!) i have noticed that my peppermint pleco, Trebor, is breathing rather heavily.

Is there anything i can do to help him apart from continue to do water changes? Should i keep adding the Meth Blue meds?

Please help if poss, he is a lovely fish:eek:(

Why did this have to happen:(

It's tough on the bottom for them if there a power cut.
Is the power back on now.
Add a tablespoon of salt to help gill function.

i dont think this will ever happen to me thankfully, my dads work has generators for the jobsite and he "borrows" them and brings them home so i plug my tank in the generator.. i know his doesn't help.. but hang in there and hope for the best.. :good:

I think methleyne blue is bad for your filter and should only be used in a hospital tank. Not 100% sure but would do some large water changes and put some carbon in to remove the medication quickly

Thats strange coz my albino cory seems to have perked up since the meds has been in there. The pleco is now looking a lot better :) Thanks for the tip matey x
