Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but hope someone will be able to help me with my problem.

I've got a 40L tropical tank, in which I've got 4 Leopard Danios. I've had them for about 2 months.

I've just noticed that my smallest danio has gotten really skinny and odd looking and he's hiding behind things a lot. The other 3 fish seem fine.

I thought maybe he hasn't been eating so I observed him closely and he did eat, but then seemed to spit quite a bit of it back up. I don't understand why he doesn't seem to be keeping his food down.

He also seems to be getting bullied by the other fish, which could be why he is hiding.

I'm sure there's no way to stop the bullying. It was pretty bad when I first got them, but then died down and they all got along well. The bullying and hiding seems to have just started back up recently.

Please help me, I feel so sad for him and really do not want him to die!

Thanks,
dani

Going thin can be due to internal parasites, but have to make sure he's eating first, also does the fish have a bent spine, check the anus to see if it looks enlarged or red and inflamed, and check what it looks like when he goes to the toilet.

Thanks for the speedy reply Wilder

He does look slightly bent. Quite a funny shape. Will have to try to look at the anus etc.
How are parasites caught and can they be transmitted to the other fish? What do I need to do to treat him?
Thanks
Dani
