He got eaten

He has very little tail left - Ive put some melafix in but i dont know what else to do... He seems to be swimming around and eating happily enough so hopefully he wont die... Bless him...

Any ideas?

Here's a couple of pictures - sorry they're such bad quality, as i said, he's still swimming around pretty well!!! I think you can just make out that he has no tail left though....

I had a betta that ripped my guppie tails to sreads, he went back to the shop the next day. As I had no way of seperating him.

they grew back though.

I glad he ok in himself, I would try and find the culprate and maybe seperate them.

Hey,

No he doesn't have fin rot, its just been chewed.

Im assuming it was my new betta who id put in as a trial, he's now back in a 2 gallon plastic thing - it doesnt seem to have gotten any worse so hopefully ive got the culprit out!

Is there anything other than melafix that i can put in to help his fins grow back? Or would that be the best option?

wow sum1 realy gave him a wooping, if hes acting normal and u'v got melafix in there he'll be ok, just continue melfix treatments too kill fin rot.

I was wondering if i should put the betta back in as he doesnt seem to bother the others and then put the guppy in my filtered 4 gallon tank til he's better? Or would moving him stress him too much?! Its all very confusing...
