Alrighty, so I moved the 3 guppies and the danio that was with them out of the quarantine tank and into the main tank.
Guppies freaked quite a bit, and my lil finrot gal danio swam around as if she hadn't left.
Well... later on after we got back from the store. I sat to watch the tank for a bit, and see that the guppies are all in the very top left corner of the tank. Just hovering there not wanting to move. They look really stressed and just unhappy with their new living situation.
And who is there hovering near them? Yep, my poor little finrot gal danio.
She's SO cute and sad to watch. She stays near them and looks off to the rest of the tank as if she wants to swim around but doesn't want to leave her new buddies.
She sometimes will swim over to them and will brush up against them I guess to try to get them to swim with her, but they're just not moving.
I feel so terrible for her
She looks so lost. I don't think she wants to go back with the other danios b/c of the big bully one that chases them (the danios, she hasn't bothered the gups), but her new buddies are just a bit too freaked out to move anywhere else.
I am a bit worried about the guppies... is this normal behaviour for them when in a new tank? They seemed to warm right up to the little bitty qurantine tank.
I really hope they will get used to the tank soon, b/c my heart is just breaking for my little danio gal.
