I've been feeding my swordtails frozen bloodworms among other things and I wanted to know what color their poop is supposed to be after eating the bloodworms. A lot of them have white/light-colored poop but no other symptoms, so it doesn't look like it's intestinal parasites or anything like that. Is white poop normal after frozen bloodworms?

There waste should be brown in colour.
When I fed bloodworms to my fish there waste was a brownie red.

Feed some shelled peas to see if that clears is up.

White poo can be constipation, internal parasites, bacterial infection,.

Brown to red with my fish. Weirdly, bloodworms make my fish sick, I've given up on them in favor of egg yokes.

Just out of curiosity but how do you feed egg yolk to fish? I have read it before but still seems most odd!!! Lol.

Hard boil an egg, remove the yolk, then break into bite size pieces. I find that although fish love it, it makes to much of a mess.

Yes, exactly as above. I only feed egg yoke when I am going to do a water change that same day as it really is messy. I also do it as fry food sometimes (a bit of tank water in a cup, mash egg yoke into super fine fry mouth size pieces... definitely a must for a water clean after that though).

What medication do you recommend for internal parasites? How do I distinguish between internal protozoa and internal worms? I believe the treatment required is different for those two.
