Pond Scum !

i have what i think is Hair Algea and ive been removing it mannualy for a long time now

my fish somtimes have trouble swimming cuz of it


ive done a major cleaning a while ago


i took all the fish and put them in a cycled tank for 2 weeks and i did a huge chlorine cleaning and that killed everything that was in there (fish were in tank)

it was sparkling clean then i did a 100% water change every 2 days

after i returned the fish to the pond it was clean for 3 weeks and then

i had another breakout


what do i do to get rid of it???

hmmm for blanketweed try using nishikoi goodbye blanketweed. its supposed to work.

well is ti out in the sun if so get a cover for it thats maybe the reason

what are your water parameters (pH, gh, kh, no3, phosphate)?

I'm guessing your gh is low and you have either high phosphates or nitrAtes (no3)

I recommend söll pond essential for your ph gh kh levels and
söll blanketweed remover (does more than just blanket weed) for your algae problem.
both can be obtained from any lfs that deals with underworld products
