Pond Heating For Large Catfish?

Hi. I have set up a 1000g indoor pond for my red tailed catfish and i need advice on heating it. Can you help me? The best thing I have found is a 3Kw swimming pool heater.

What filter are you using?
You might be able to set a tank containing a domestic immersion heater in the run back to the pond.

Its just a regular box pond filter with a Blagdon pump. I dont think I could hook up an immersion heater but thanks for getting back to me
