Hi,

Does anyone have any idea where I can get polystyrene boxes from, obvisously for the transporting of ish ;)
I've looked on the net and they only ones I can find are stupidly priced, at about £30 for a small one :/ Which seems FAR too expensive for what it is.

I'm in the UK so a shop here that sells them would be great, I suppose even a website that sells them.
I'm gonna need to smallish one for transporting corydora, and some large ones for moving Polyterus and synodontis.

thanks for the help.

:) ask your lfs, that's where we got ours from. they'll get they're fish delivered in them so will always have spares.

or if that fails, ask in the buy sell and swap section, ive seen people trying to sell them on here a few times recently ;)

After you've tried you local aquarist shop,
Try your local Hospital/Health Centre they use poly boxes to transport all manner of things. (including gorey things).
Regards
BigC

most hospital ones have carried blood, urine, faeces, sputum etc. They need alot of decaontamination and hospitals probably won't let you have them for this reason. I work at a phls and we would not, they have to be autoclaved before discarding.
