is this polyresin flat cave rock by 'all living things' safe for aquarium use? it only says it's safe for reptiles on the product description.

http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...030049&Ne=2

it's made out of polyresin, but it says on the tag...

"CAUTION: Not recommended for fish tanks. Rinse well with warm water (no detergent) before using."

what do you guys think, should i put it in my tank?

Edit: i just called petsmart and they say that while the polyresin is safe, the accessory contains a special antimicrobial agent which is a petsmart exclusive. this agent somehow makes it unsafe for use in fish tanks, but they didn't know why.

does anyone know why?

I wouldnt do it. Go to you lfs( perrferibly a homeowned one) and buy some slate and stack it. I used that instead. Only 99 cents a pound.

i did some research and it seems that the anti-microbial agent is there to prevent bacteria growth. is it because it's a chemical that may mix with water, that makes it dangerous for aquarium use? or because it will destroy the beneficial bacteria in the filter by mixing with the water?
