A couple of my boys have had a rough time of things lately. Pluto arrived in the post about 6 weeks ago biting his tail, which lead to a pretty severe bacterial finrot infection. I haven't got a photo of him at his worst but his fin was gone all the way down to the coloured part most of the way around. This was taken about a week before its peak:

After 2 weeks of almost daily water changes, his fins started to look much better:

This one was taken yesterday. Lots of new growth. He'll be good as new in no time :)

About 4 days ago, Pluto jumped the divider into Steve's section and left him in this state:

Thankfully, he has miraculously survived and didn't even seem bothered by the trauma he suffered. His fins are already growing back nicely. This was taken 2 days ago now and you can see how much his fins grew in such a short space of time:

I'll keep updating this topic with their progress. Watch this space :good:

Poor boy :( his fins were stunning before he wanted to jump ranks,I look forward to his new fin growth :)

Here's a quick update on Steve. He's still acting like his normal self, scowling at the snails and getting in my line of vision when I try to look at anything in the tank that isn't him  His tail is starting to look a bit more like a VT rather than a stump now :)
