2 maybe 3 of my guupys have this apparent rash...new to this whole thing so sorry if a little informal.

new tank owner - 150L - 3 foot - 6 days old.

Using 'Cycle' prodcut to mature new aquarium faster (local aquarium recomends 3 days with this product)+ ph level of 7.3 .......

tank holds
4 bristlenose catfish - largest is 2-3 cm length (no signs of being ill)
1 corydoras catfish (no signs of being ill)
2 milktails - am not really sure if that what you call em - tiny little things you would feed to a cichlid.(no signs of being ill)
and

4 guppys - 2 half blue one spotted like a snake and on orange
the orange doesnt seem to be as ill, if ill at all, compaired to the others. mind you i may not be able to see due to colour..

In the first picture attached i must question the darkness on the guppys mouth and above as i dont remmeber seeing this first. my main concern is the orange discolouration near the front fins and gills..

your input would be appreciated

Redness around the gills in an uncycled tank is usually ammonia poisoning/burning.
Do you have a test kit for ammonia , nitrite and nitrate?
If so, what are the water readings?

If not, Id recommend you get them as soon as you can, so you can check on the cycle of your tank, as the ammonia will get high enough to kill them, and then the nitrites.
Do a search for cycling and you will find great information here on what is happening and what to expect. Your tank basically has to build up the bacteria that eats the fish waste/ammonia, then the nitrites that those bacteria give off.

Do a 25-50% water change with declorinated water, same temperature, daily if you don't have a kit until you can get one. And then everytime you test your water and it shows ammonia or nitrite over .25.

I also recommend, since you are going to have do do a cycle with fish, get yourself some amquel + (note the plus) or seachem prime, Both of these will detox ammonia, nitrite etc and keep your fish alive, while letting it cycle.
Use this, along with your declorinator as the declorinator will take care of heavy metals in your water that prime/amquel + don't.

Good luck
